    a Diabolo goes arround...

Sailing from Darwin (Australia) to Kupang (West Timor, Indonesia)

that was australia...

on the moment I'm on my boat to Indonesia and I've left the country where spent almost a full year (unbeleavable, hey!?) only a couple of days ago... With me are heaps of memorys I'll never forget in my life...

Bali - Pandang Bai 19.10.2005

After spending a few more days in Timor I finally arrived in bali and now found some more time to make a decent report...
The sailing trip took us 5 full days and no (Marie), it was a bit less adventures than I expected because we had "very glasy" conditions to quote my skipper Rheinhard. But maybe that's not too bad, because so I could get my "seelegs" under nice circumstances and didn't got seesick att all.
After spending 24 hours a day with the same crew, having nobody but hundreds of seesnakes (very dangerous...) and a few lovely dolphins here and there which swom just in front of our yacht like in a movie, we got to know each other very good. Especially with Andrey, a crazy ukranian dude, I got along excelent and together with him I could stand the permant alcohol consumption (more than enough for the two of us...) of our man in charge, Rheinhard.
Ariived in timor, we got customs clearance and I got my visa without any complications. (no worrys Jens, I just had to pay 10 dollars extra...)

our crew is shopping for the big adventure... we definatly made sure that we don't run out of food...
Rheinhard (NZ, ex German), Cedric (Australia, ex. GB) and Andrey (Ukraine)

before we left there was a little bit of work to do - new painting by Andrey

keen to work - Rheinhard our skipper...

the "Hroschnik" - means baby hippo in polish...

its is so nice to have you two as a final memory from Australia - Dan and Lorry came to wave and say goodby...

"Cedrico" is keen to sail - he decided like in a movie, from one second to another, that he always wanted to do something like this... I was more than glad that it was the four of us in the end!

romantic atmosphere on the boat...

After having spend one wonderful year in Australia I'm on my way to Asia, next destination Indonesia... (09.10.05)... Sorry Mum, haven't cut my hair yet... :)

thanks to my intervention we didn't chuck all our rubbish over board...

and so we saved these cute creatures... at least a little bit of entertainment on the boat

Andrey has the feeling off beeing almost home...

just before landfall after 5 days
